Linda comes from a long line of creativity, being influenced by both her grandmothers and her mother. This desire to create began to blossom at a very young age, first sewing, knitting and crocheting, then weaving baskets, making silver jewelry, decorating hats, shoes, anything that needed a little extra pizzazz. Linda’s first handbag creation was for her mother’s birthday and within months the collection took on a life of its own.  Sacks & Taylor designs have since emerged, each making a statement, bringing joy and an expression of individuality to even the most timid! 

Although Linda calls the Boston area home, she lived in Colorado for many years and has named her Sacks & Taylor handbags after the fascinating towns and magnificent resorts in the Rocky Mountains.  Each design is individually handcrafted and quite possibly a reflection of the town for which it is named.  You may recognize a name or two, and may have even visited some of these intriguing spots. And when she is not in the studio creating, you’ll find her outdoors maybe skiing, kayaking, white water rafting, playing golf or cycling.
